What’s your love story? What’s the story of your favorite author? Have you ever done a book project in writing?
My writing background is in Graphic Design.
We both were students at Penn, and are known professionally for our drawings.
My passion is to write books with characters but also have graphic style. How would you write a book using these books?
My inspiration comes from my childhood as a girl who spent time on a number of islands after school for school. I was determined to explore the sea and land. I felt lucky to know that other people and families could experience the joys and challenges of the sea, such as surfing, exploring the wild, playing with nature and enjoying nature as I did. My drawings were drawn on the islands we frequented, a wonderful way for me to try them out and share them with readers.
What’s the story of your favorite children’s author’s favorite? What were the most difficult things you dealt with during your creative process, in your development or at school? What were the most challenging times to overcome through self study? Also, when do you feel stuck, struggling with time as a child or as an adult, or in school?
